Retrofit, which improves the energy performance of existing homes, is essential to cutting bills and reducing carbon emissions.
With most of the UK’s 2050 housing stock already built, retrofit offers one of the fastest and most cost-effective ways to meet climate goals while supporting jobs and skills in construction. By championing retrofit, the APPG can help ensure the UK makes the most of its existing homes in the transition to a low-carbon future.
